In order to strengthen our Motorsports team we are looking to hire a Technician/Mechanic, based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

In this position, you will be responsible to for preparation and repair of all vehicles allocated for marketing, press and driving school usage. You would be handling the maintenance of all workshop equipment.

As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:
• Work with marketing, Driving School and press departments to determine vehicle preparation requirements.
• Maintaining a daily preparation schedule in order to meet shipping deadlines.
• Order parts necessary to perform repairs.
• Perform the mechanical preparation of press, demo and driving school vehicles.
• Road testing, Complete mechanical inspection of vehicle
• Fueling, perform any open campaigns.
• Perform any warranty repairs found during inspection.
• Perform any required scheduled maintenance.
• Enter Red Online reports as needed.
• Update the workshop DMS.
• Perform car washing and cleaning as needed.
• Work with trucking personnel to receive and deliver vehicles.
• Assist with corporate events as required.
• Technical assistance, Vehicle movement
• Driver as needed, organize and maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Keep the workshop clean and in order all the time.
• Tests equipment for quality operation when maintenance is completed.
• Perform preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Advises Management of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action required.
• Maintain company truck.
• Repairs, cleaning, refueling
• Assist with all non-Ferrari fleet vehicles.
• Return vehicle when lease expires, minor repairs
• Assist with special project when needed.
• Perform activities/repairs/project at the port facility when needed
• Ability to travel (also with short notice) to provide support for events or to critical cases in the network.
• Observes and follows all necessary safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment and tools.

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved a Bachelor's degree in related field. Have 5-10 years experience in automotive, luxury automobile market preferred. Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.

The following skills are required to perform the role: Ability to manage multiple critical deadlines for vehicle deliveries. Deep technical knowledge of Ferrari vehicles (both new and old). Must be able to work with other departments effectively to coordinate workshop activities. Required to have a high degree of flexibility with working hours. Capability to work independently and self-organizational skills. Strong technical ability and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever changing environment. Must have strong work ethic and integrity. Excellent customer relations skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Position requires physical activity. Lifting of a maximum of approximately 100lbs.
