We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, in addition to, wheel alignments, exhaust work and diagnostics.
• Able to mechanical issues using automotive scan tool and scopes.
• Repair or replace defective parts, such as engines, transmissions, and powertrain components.
• Work with automotive electrical systems to address issues related to wiring and electronic components.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot effectively.
• Able to provide customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair options through email, text and in person.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with team lead and others to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.

Requirements
• Proven experience in automotive repair.
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including powertrain components and automotive electrical systems.
• The ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques for effective troubleshooting.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workman or womanship.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.
• Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, twist, turn, lift, and reach frequently.
• Be able to have full use of fingers and hands.
• Owns his/her own basic tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
