Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Automotive Service Manager in New Bern, North Carolina. As an Automotive Service Manager, you will provide exceptional leadership and management to our service department, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and profitability. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management.
- Ensure that all service technicians are performing at a high level and meeting productivity and efficiency targets.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving any issues or complaints related to the service department.
- Monitor and control expenses within the service department to ensure profitability.
- Develop and implement effective service policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the sales department to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Handle and resolve any escalated customer concerns.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely and accurate ordering of parts for service jobs.
- Keep updated on industry trends and developments to continuously improve the service department's performance.
- Maintain accurate records of service and repair orders, parts used, and any other relevant information.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in the automotive service industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repair processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of managing and motivating a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
