Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead the used car sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize profitability

- Monitor market trends and competition to adjust pricing and inventory accordingly

- Ensure the dealership's inventory is properly merchandised and displayed

- Conduct appraisals of trade-in vehicles and negotiate purchase prices

- Collaborate with the service department to ensure reconditioning of used vehicles is completed in a timely manner

- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, sales, and customer interactions

- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process

- Utilize various software programs to manage inventory, track sales, and analyze data

Requirements:

- Proven experience in automotive sales management, preferably in the used car market

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in phone etiquette and cold calling techniques

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

- In-depth knowledge of the automotive market, including current trends and pricing strategies

- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on market research

- Familiarity with automotive software systems for inventory management and sales tracking
